Hello! My name is Malyssa and I specialize in multimedia Illustration and sculpture. I have a bachelor's degree in Media Arts and Animation and have been drawing basically my whole life!
My work can range anywhere from simplistic designs to detailed creations. Overall, I just like to make art that makes people feel something!
- Illustrate based on various client wants, ideas, etc. The style and the complexity of the pieces can vary.
- Sell artwork and sculptures in local craft fairs, markets, and art shows.
- Painted multiple card illustrations for the game, "X: Seekers of Fortune."
- Each piece required numerous thumbnails, sketches, and compositions to help aid in the creation of them.
- Every design was refined based on notes provided by the two art leads.
- Periodically create portraits based on the client's specifications that are processed and turned into wood carving reliefs using a CNC machine.
- On occasion, sculpt reliefs using zbrush if more detail is needed for carving.
- Create multiple card illustrations based off of pre-existing character concepts, reference guides, and images provided by the Art Director.
- Refine concept designs, color palettes and composition using notes given by the Art Director.
